Thanks Chungie!!
I have almost completed my camera setup:
Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi) Camera (with remote shutter)
Tamron 18-270 mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC Lens
Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Lens
Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash
SteinZeiser SZ-16 Tripod
The only thing missing is a decent bag to put them all in. (got one big one to carry everything.. and a small one just for carrying the essentials)
(Need to sell my old lenses – Canon 18-55mm kit lens and Canon EF 75-300 f/4-5.6 III) (sold)
A surprise party… for me. I have to admit, you guys got me. Thanks!!! Oh and I absolutely love that shirt.
I’ll never forget tonight, mostly because of those pictures that I’m sure that even if I don’t want them out in public, they will end up there anyway. And that bloody itchy pants and shoes that were lent to me in Helipad (you could have asked me to bring jeans and shoes, I probably would without asking why).

The original plan when I decided to make a quick trip back home last weekend was simple:
Everything went well up until the afternoon of the 22nd. During the evening, I get a very severe stomach pain. Normally I’ll just take some antacids and it will be all fine, but no, this time, it was really painful I can’t even lie down. My folks takes me to the hospital, and after:
the pain subsides and the surgeon tells me I don’t need surgery [yet, maybe after 6 months
].
So my supposedly 4 day trip became 8 days. Every time I wake up, I still feel like someone is checking my blood pressure and giving me medicines, and still very cautious while turning when I’m asleep – afraid that I might dislodge the I.V. [hurts quite a bit]
Now I’m back in Singapore, can’t wait for my next adventure when I go back home by November.
